Work Experience

-Seven years in research applied to uranium deposits in Southern Africa and South America

-Participation in 16 major research projects in all types of sedimentary environments, resulting in 149 full-length publications (118 papers in  34 ISI journals, 23 papers in 7 non-ISI journals, 8 chapters in books), plus 2 theses and 87 conference proceedings or abstracts.

-Geological research in South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Germany, Israel, Australia, Brazil, Peru, Chile, and Antarctica.

-Thirty-three years of university teaching (South Africa and Chile).

-Special research projects for 11 international exploration and mining companies.

-Training/Short courses taught: Pontíficia Universidad Católica del Perú; Centro de Investigación Oceanográfica en el Pacífico Sur Oriental (COPAS); Soquimich, Sernageomin.
